Dubno (Ukrainian: Ду́бно) is a city located on the Ikva River in the Rivne Oblast (province) of western Ukraine. Serving as the administrative center of Dubno Raion (district), the city itself is also designated as a separate raion within the oblast. The city is located on intersection of two major European routes E40 and E84.In Soviet times it was home to the Cold War facility Dubno air base. The city is also famous for its legendary fortress.
