Game Boy Micro (ゲームボーイミクロ, Gēmu Bōi mikuro) (stylized as Game Boy micro) is a handheld game console developed and manufactured by Nintendo. It was first released in September 2005. The system is the very last console for the original Game Boy line. It is essentially a much smaller Game Boy Advance, albeit without backwards-compatibility with Game Boy and Game Boy Color games.
