Harrogate is a city in Claiborne County, Tennessee, United States. It is adjacent to Cumberland Gap National Historical Park. The community has been known as "Harrogate" since the 19th century, but did not incorporate as a city by that name until 1992. As of the 2010 census, its population was 4,389.Before incorporation, the United States Census Bureau formerly treated Harrogate as a census-designated place (CDP) called Harrogate-Shawanee.
