Jhulelal (Sindhi/Urdu: جهوللال), Dariyalal or Zinda Pir refers to two interwoven legends in the Sindh, in Pakistan which bring together the Hindu and the Islamic traditions of the region in popular folklore. The name refers to the Ishta Dev (community God) of Sindhi people. Sindhi Hindus regard him to be an incarnation of Hindu God Varuna. He lived around the 10th Century A.D.(950).The name also refers to Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, a Sufi saint. The origin of this connection is disputed.
