John Simpson Hastings (June 30, 1898 – February 7, 1977) was a United States federal judge.Born in Washington, Indiana, Hastings received a B.S. from U.S. Military Academy, West Point, New York in 1920 and was a Lieutenant in the United States Army, Field Artillery from 1920 to 1921.
