Joseph Peter Kinneary (September 19, 1905 – February 14, 2003) was a United States federal judge.Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kinneary graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1924, and received a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in 1928 and an LL.B. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1935. He was in private practice in Cincinnati and in Columbus, Ohio, from 1935 to 1961. He was an Assistant state attorney general of Ohio from 1937 to 1939.
