Lieutenant Karl "Quax" Schnörrer (22 March 1919 – 25 September 1979) was a famous "ace" of the German Luftwaffe during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (German: Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes).
