Keith Andrew Hunter ONZM FRSNZ is an Ocean chemist who is currently Professor of Chemistry and Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Sciences at the University of Otago.He was educated at Auckland Grammar School, graduated from the University of Auckland with a first class degree in Chemistry in 1974, and completed his PhD at the University of East Anglia in 1977. He joined the University of Otago in 1979 and is a former President of the New Zealand Institute of Chemistry.
