Margaret Skeete née Seward (October 27, 1878 – May 7, 1994) was an American supercentenarian and, from 1993 to 1994, the oldest living person in the United States. She was 115 years 192 days old when she died.According to her eldest daughter, Verne Taylor, Skeete was listed in the 1880 U.S. Census as a two-year-old. Human longevity researcher Robert Young found a two-year-old "Mattie Seward", of Rockport, Texas, recorded in that census.
