Matt McIlvane (born November 2, 1985) is an American retired professional ice hockey player. He played for the Cincinnati Cyclones in the ECHL, the Bloomington PrairieThunder of the Central Hockey League and the Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League. He was selected by the Ottawa Senators in the 8th round (251st overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. On October 25, 2011, it was announced that McIlvane had retired from professional hockey citing health reasons.
