Maxwell Charles Gordon Meighen OBE (June 5, 1908 – February 5, 1992) was a Canadian financier, and the son of late Canadian Prime Minister Arthur Meighen. Meighen was born in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. He graduated from the Royal Military College and the University of Toronto, then served in World War II (served with the Corps of Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers in Europe and retiring as a Colonel). He then took over the investment companies founded by his Father.
