Muhlenberg County (/ˈmjuːlənbərɡ/) is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. As of the 2010 census, the population was 31,499. Its county seat is Greenville. The county was founded in 1798 and named for General Peter Muhlenberg, a colonial general during the American Revolutionary War.
