N.K. Salil (born as Salil Kumar Naskar) is a Bengali film screenplay and story writer. When he was 17, he used to write drama script for Akashbani. Then he joined daily serials as an assistant director. His first film as a scriptwriter was an Indo-Bangladesh joint venture film, 'Ami Sei Meye', in 1998. It was an Indo-Bangladesh collaboration film directed by Prosenjit Chatterjee. He had also written scripts for some serials. Besides this, he had also acted in a few movies.
