Polygon is an American video game website that publishes news, culture, reviews, and videos. It launched as Vox Media's third property on October 24, 2012. The site was built over the course of ten months, and its 16-person founding staff included the editors-in-chief of the gaming sites Joystiq, Kotaku and The Escapist.
