Pomaderris ferruginea is a species of shrubs and small trees from eastern and southern Australia. A common plant in forest, regularly along streams, particularly south of Stroud, New South Wales. A shrub up to 4 metres tall, it features rusty stems and hairs on the under side of the leaf. Though the upper surface of the leaf is hairless but not glossy. Leaves 6 to 10 cm long, lanceolate in shape. Cream or white flowers form in panicles at the end of branches, from September to October.
