Requa (also called Karok) (Karuk: thúfip, Tolowa: taa-chit’ ) is an unincorporated community in Del Norte County, California. It is on the north bank of the Klamath River less than a mile (1.6 km) from its mouth, at an elevation of 125 feet (38 m).A post office operated at Requa from 1878 to 1970, with intermittent closures in 1883 and moves in 1895 and 1898.
