Steve Linde is the editor-in-chief of The Jerusalem Post newspaper.Linde was born in Harare, Zimbabwe, on April 23, 1960, and raised in Durban, South Africa. As a 15-year-old, Linde attended a four-month ulpan experience based at Jerusalem’s Kiryat Moriah, which he said "cemented my love of Israel forever."
