Talvik (Northern Sami: Dálbmeluokta and Kven: Talmulahti) is a village and a former municipality in Finnmark county in Norway. It is located in the northern part of the present-day Alta Municipality, along both sides of the outer Altafjorden.The village of Talvik is located on the western shore of the Altafjorden, along the European route E06 highway.
