Techdombe or Techdombe is an electronic music subgenre that fuses the Afro-Uruguayan genre Candombe with Techno music. The term is gestated by Uruguayan multidisciplinary-artist, music producer, and DJ Javier Zugarramurdi García. After many years of experimentation with the fusion of the genres, finally in 2015 Zugarramurdi releases a mini-album entitled Techdombe on his own independent label Repique, running under Bandcamp.
