The Selfs were a British R & B band from the Wembley area of London in 1964. Band members included Chris Squire (bass), Andrew Pryce Jackman (keys), John Wheatley (guitar), Chris Slater (vocals) and Martyn Adelman (drums). They appeared at The Graveyard Club, Blackbirds Cross Wembley, a venue for British R & B. In 1964 they took part in the Competition, 'Ready Steady Win' run by the producers of Ready Steady Go.
