Valdres is a traditional district in central, southern Norway, situated between Gudbrandsdal and Hallingdal. The region around Valdres consists of the six municipalities of Nord-Aurdal, Sør-Aurdal, Øystre Slidre, Vestre Slidre, Vang and Etnedal.
