It is found in Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, western Kenya, Rwanda, northern Somalia, Sudan, western Tanzania, and Uganda.
