The White Tank Freeway is a planned freeway in the far northwest region of the Phoenix Metropolitan Area, currently under study by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) to address expected long-term growth and development in the area. If constructed, the roadway would serve as a controlled-access expressway connecting Loop 303 in Surprise with the planned alignment of future Interstate 11 adjacent to the Hassayampa River. The freeway is named after the nearby White Tank Mountains.
