The autonym is men\u02E7\u02E9ni\u02E7.The Caijia people are ethnoculturally related to the Lu (\u5362) people (Luren \u5362\u4EBA), who are classified as Manchu by the Chinese government. It is possible that their language is closely related to Caijia. Caijia is also likely to be closely related to Longjia (\u9F99\u5BB6).
