"D\u00F8nnes is a village and a former municipality in the Helgeland traditional region in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the present-day municipality of D\u00F8nna. The former municipality encompassed the northern part of the island of D\u00F8nna, the western parts of the islands of Tomma and L\u00F8kta, and many smaller surrounding islands.D\u00F8nnes Church was probably built here at the request of Paul V\u00E5gaskalm who was governor of Alstahaug."@en .
