"Eboracum (/i\u02D0\u02C8b\u0252r\u0259k\u0259m/ or /\u02CCi\u02D0b\u0254\u02D0\u02C8r\u0251\u02D0k\u0259m/) was a fort and city in the Roman province of Britannia. In its prime it was the largest town in northern Britain and a provincial capital.
