"University of Jiroft (\u062F\u0627\u0646\u0634\u06AF\u0627\u0647 \u062C\u06CC\u0631\u0641\u062A), is a public, coeducational research university located in Jiroft, Iran.The University of Jiroft was originally started as a Technical Institute of Agriculture in 1989, under supervision of Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman.Subsequently, in 1997 it was developed to the Faculty of Agriculture and later on, it was expanded as The Faculty Complex of Agriculture and Natural Resources.Finally, in line with the particular attention of the government to higher education and scientific research around the country, and according to the all-round development of the southern province of Kerman as well as prospect of the use of high capacity and potential of the Jiroft city, on 22 February 2009, the Faculty Complex developed to the University of Jiroft.The academic activity of this university independently began with two Faculties viz.
