The TAO was originally named Mueang Pak (\u0E40\u0E21\u0E37\u0E2D\u0E07\u0E1B\u0E31\u0E01) and was renamed together with the upgrade, as the central part of the subdistrict already forms a subdistrict municipality named Mueang Pak.
