It flows from the lakes called Finnvollvatnet and Furudalsvatnet northeast past the Sverkmoen area to the lake \u00D8yungen. At \u00D8yungen, it joins the river \u00D8yens\u00E5a which continues until it joins with the Ferja. There, it becomes the river \u00C5rg\u00E5rdselva which flows to the Namsenfjorden. There is good salmon fishing in the lower parts of the river. The river system is about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) long."@en .
